Prepare with 1 level teaspoon of thyme in 3/4 cup (150 ml) boiling water. Steep, strain, cool slightly, and give 2/3–1 cup (150–230 ml) over the day. For infants under 6 months, the mother may take the infusion if breastfeeding.
